CPL(A) – training for commercial pilot licence
The acquisition of a Commercial Pilot Licence is essential for anyone with a professional career in aviation. During the training, we will teach you how to fly in difficult weather conditions, you will fly at night and you will familiarize yourself with the specifications of air operations in the controlled space. The minimum requirements for commencing the training course shall be the possession of a PPL(A), a VFR night rating and 150 hours of total flight hours, including 100 hours of PIC (pilot in command). The theoretical knowledge instruction may take the form of a course for the CPL(A) or ATPL(A). The choice of the second solution allows to cover three courses (IR(A), CPL(A), ATPL(A)) with one integrated course. The number of lesson units strictly depends on the selected course type. The practical training course consists of 20 hours spent on Cessna 152 and 5 hours spent on Piper PA28 Arrow or PA30 in case of an integrated course with MEP(L). Having a professional licence entitles you to operate flights for a salary as a commercial pilot.
