Flight academy

Have you ever dreamed of flying? Were you born with this vision of being a pilot? Or maybe you treat aircraft as an efficient and quick means of transport solely? All of these you may fulfil by enrolling into a pilot course. Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, so called Multi-engine training...? These are only some of the courses provided by our ATO.

Individual approach:

Complete process of pilot training consists of several stages, this is why, taking into account individual needs of our students, prior to the course beginning, the “Supervising instructor” is assigned to them. He will make a short interview with the candidate and will propose the “training path” allowing to reach set goals in an optimum way. After commencing the proper training he/she will monitor the student’s progress and also answer all the arising questions and doubts.

Our offer:

Private Pilot License PPL(A) training

- Getting Private Pilot License is an introduction to the air adventure. During this training you will fly your first solo, which is an unforgattable experience for majority of us. After passing the exams at CAA you will become a regular European airspace user, because courses at our ATO are lead according to the international flight crew licensing regulations.
- the training consists of 100- hours theoretical course and 45 flight hours on Cessna 152.
- PPL license allows for non-commercial flying

Commercial Pilot License CPL(A) training

- Gaining CPL(A) is indispensable for anyone, who plans to pursue a career in aviation. We will teach you how to fly in adverse weather conditions, in VFR night conditions, everything within controlled airspace. Minimum requirements: PPL(A), VFR night rating and 150 h total time, of which 100 h PIC (Pilot in Command)
- The theoretical part may either be that for CPL(A) or that for ATPL(A). The selection of second option allows to cover three theoretical trainings (IR(A), CPL(A), ATPL(A)) in one integrated course.
- Practical part consists of 25-28 hours on Cessna 152, Piper PA28 Arrow or PA30 in case of integrated MEP(L) programme*
- CPL(A) allows for commercial flying
- There is also an option of integrated CPL(A) and multi engine MEP(L) training

Training for airline transport pilot licence - ATPL(A)

Gaining the ATPL(A) is one of the ultimate stages in the pilot training. You can enroll in the theoretical course at our ATO, during which the specialists from different fields will lecture on the issues essential to every airline pilot. After completion of theoretical ATPL(A) course and all of the necessary practical training the student gains the ATPL(A) frozen status. This legitimates him/her, after completion of any additional requirements, to file for ATPL(A) exam.

Training for VFR night flight qualification

- Flying at night, in any weather conditions requires VFR night rating. The training may be performed within the framework of PPL(A) training i.e. prior to practical PPL(A) exam or after the PPL(A) issue. The training consists of one-day theoretical part in individual mode and then the practical training of 5h09 follows. This course is a uniquely exiting experience for any pilot as it’s the first step into night flying. Prior to it, all of the flights were to be executed during day-time. During the course you will be taught how to execute night cross country flights and take-offs and landings in the dark
- Flights take place at Warszawa-Modlin international airport, boasting of the most modern lighting system

Training for instrument rating - IR(A)

- Gaining the Instrument Rating will allow you to operate in the controlled airspace in adverse weather conditions, without any visual reference outside the cockpit. IFR flights navigation is based on instruments in the cockpit and stations on the ground. Additionally all the flights are performed under the ATC supervision, responsible for aircraft coordination.
- Theoretical training can be performed in two ways, similarly to CPL(A). Either choosing the course focused on Instrument Operation or the complex ATPL(A) course.
- The practical part usually consists of 35 simulator hours and 15 h on an aircraft of PA28 type. It is also possible to choose the MEP(L) option with 40 h on sim and 15 h on PA30.

At our ATO an experienced instructor will introduce you to the multi-engine aircraft characteristics.
- Theoretical training consists of 7 hours of lectures in individual mode
- Practical training consists of 6 flight hours on board Piper PA30 Twin Comanche
